This historic "board room", with quarter-sawn oak paneling nearly as priceless
as the view, was the purchaser's inspiration to buy this home. Trying to remove the cracked 80-year old varnish,
the first painter ran into technical problems. The Ritland crew came aboard and succeeded in recreating the original
look following careful removal of the dark old varnish, repairs of various damages, toning and staining, then many lacquer
coats expertly applied.
