This 100-year old home had old-growth fir throughout, some painted,
most of it stained dark and varnished. Furniture-grade refinishing requires considerable patience, knowledge,
and discipline in the strip, tone, stain, and finish process. The flawless result is no accident. Wall finishing
included some nice glazes from Susan James of De Colores. The rich
texture of this interior is beyond description.
