Water damage and window rot was costing tens of thousands,
avoidable if the paint job just a few years earlier had been done properly.
This time the board was careful about selecting the right contractor,
so they chose Ritland Painting.
The windows required full prep attention, including stripping out
the old caulking and replacing it with Sikaflex urethane, removal
of damaged paint followed by prime plus two topcoats of premium Pratt
& Lambert Accolade Gloss. These owners take a lot of pride in
their classic building. After 8 years, the building still has the
"just painted" look, and the rot and damage are no longer an issue.
